Privacy Policy

This policy describes the services used by Jade Tile Game and what happens to your game data. Updated September 5, 2026.

Who to contact

This policy applies to jadetilegame.com, an independently maintained browser-game website. For privacy questions or requests concerning information sent to us, email [email protected].

You do not need an account to play. We do not operate a global player database, sell game accounts, or collect payment details through the game.

Game data on your device

The game runs in your browser. The current board, timer, and unsaved score are held during the page session; closing or refreshing the page loses that unfinished round.

When you submit a result, the game uses browser local storage to keep your display name, submitted score, elapsed time, date, and a randomly generated local player identifier. That identifier distinguishes your saved records in this browser; it is not your IP address. The records are not sent to a shared leaderboard server.

Records remain until replaced by better eligible results, removed by the browser, or cleared with site data. The game displays records for the current day, Monday-starting week, and month. Older data may remain in local storage until a later save or until you clear it. A different device, browser, or private-browsing session has separate storage.

Hosting and requests to the website

Cloudflare delivers this site's pages and images. To serve a page and protect its network, it processes request information such as the connecting IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request timing. This network processing is separate from the game's personal-record feature.

See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of service and network data. This release does not include a separate Google Analytics or Firebase analytics tag.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

The site includes Google AdSense code associated with our publisher account. It can contact Google when a page loads, including when an advertising slot is not visibly filled. Requests can contain technical information such as your IP address, device or browser details, and the page address.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Advertising availability and personalization depend on account settings, applicable requirements, and your choices.

You can manage or opt out of Google personalized advertising in My Ad Center. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy. Participating third-party advertising choices are also available through YourAdChoices.

Where a consent message is shown, its choices let you accept, refuse, or manage the listed purposes and providers. A privacy notice alone is not your consent to personalized advertising. If you want a new choice prompt, clearing this site's cookies and site data may cause it to appear again; doing so also removes your saved local scores. Browser cookie controls and Google's advertising settings provide additional choices.

Messages you send us

If you email us, your email address and the contents of your message are processed by the email services involved and used to respond, investigate the issue, and retain relevant correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment data, identity documents, or unnecessary personal information.

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to address the request and retain relevant support or legal records. You may ask us to delete or correct a message you sent. We cannot delete a score remotely; you control that data through your browser.

Your choices and rights

  • Play without submitting a score or providing a display name.
  • Use a nickname rather than personal information when saving a result.
  • Clear cookies and local storage in your browser's site-data settings. This can permanently remove game records and privacy choices.
  • Use advertising controls and any consent message presented to you.
  • Contact us to ask about, access, correct, or delete information you supplied by email, subject to applicable rights and necessary verification.

Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply, including rights concerning consent, objections to processing, or complaints to a privacy regulator. Google, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries other than yours; their linked policies explain their practices.

Children, security, and changes

The site is a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. Contact us if a child has sent personal information by email so that we can address it.

The site uses HTTPS. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure. If we change the services used or the way information is handled, we will update this page and its date.
